I saw these two nannies and kids on the edge of a water course and managed to get close by staying in the bush. There were other nannies and kids seen on the same trip and I managed to photograph other chamois from almost as close.

Such sights are not uncommon in Westland sub alpine and alpine zones at the moment. The kids are cute to watch and extremely agile from a young age.
