Cockayne Nature Walk

This walk starts at the Kelly's Creek car park on the north side of the bridge. The signposted track leads into a forest of rimu rātā, kamahi, tōtara, miro, and hanging with moss. The track climbs easily up to a terrace briefly before descending steps near the road. Leaving the forest, the track wanders beneath pretty regrowth fuchsia, seven finger, and horopito on the creek floodplain. A toilet is located at the car park.
