An easy track along a creek in a valley of regenerated native broadleaf forest.

This is a hour return walk located at the end of Mill Road near Waimate Canterbury. A variety of native bush and native birds can be seen and some very easy river crossings are present.

This track follows the creek up to a Rock Weir that used to be the catchment of Waimate's water supply. There is also a side track that sidles the base of the hill to Sanders falls. Suitable for the whole family (including the dogs) with a number of swimming holes along the way
