This walk follows the true right bank of the Glen Esk Stream beneath the Kitekite Falls. Combine it with the Kitekite Track for short walks suitable for anybody in the family, or take it on the way back from the Falls.

From the car park, cross a bridge. The track leads into forest and comes upon junctions with the Piha Valley and Home Tracks. Continue past a couple of picnic areas and into palm forest. A bridge crosses to the Kitekite Track. A large rata is nearby. Continue on past the bridge to the top bridge and cross to the Kitekite Track.

Return the same way or back down the Kitekite Track.
