Wooded Gully Campsite

Streamside camping in Mount Thomas Forest at the edge of the Canterbury foothills. Several short walks are nearby, plus longer day or overnight options.

Spaces are first come, first served, with some particularly nice spots down by the stream. Accessible flush toilets, dogs allowed on leash. Payment is by a self-registration booth, $6 / night for adults and $3 for children. A popular spot for young families.
