Lake Tennyson Campsite
Molesworth Recreation Reserve
Expansive campsite on the tussock shoreline of Lake Tennyson, on Molesworth Station. The campsite is close to the start of the St James Cycle Trail, and the route over Maling Pass. Very exposed to the Norwester winds.
The campsite has assisted disabled access, and an information shelter.

Getting there
|
From Hanmer Springs over Jacks Pass and along Tophouse Road. The road is open all year and suitable for standard cars. However, it is exposed to alpine conditions, and it can be rough and corrugated.
The campsite is also accessed from St Arnaud via the 4WD toll road open summer months. |
