A 2-3 hour walk from the Mt. Robert carpark to see the new Speargrass Hut.A great central stopover giving the option to continue to Angelus Hut (3hrs) or Sabine Hut at the head of Lake Rotoroa (5hrs).This hut replaced the old Speargrass Hut in April '06.
