A hurried climb up Avalanche Peak in Arthurs Pass to try and beat the incoming clouds and rain gave us just enough time to get this shot looking towards the road leading to the viaduct.A great climb up scott's track but alas, failed to make the summit because of the weather and high avalanche risk....will be back in the summer to try again.
