This is one of two short but good walks at Moana on the northern shore of Lake Brunner.
Park in the large car park by the jetty at the end of Ahau Street. A track leads off into roadside forest and crosses the large Arnold River Swingbridge.
Over the bridge, take the trail to the right. A smooth shingle trail leads under kamahi and then kahikatea spars. The track soon branches, following the river before looping back upon itself.
Toilets are located at the car park.
