Manuka Hut
Maintenance of Manuka hut chimney , missing bricks around top of flue.
Hi just to let everybody know that this could be yet another hut that DOC will take away because they can't or won't do the maintenance .
And is their anybody else out there that cares about this hut

Russell Pullar Meet up with Mountain View at boundary creek hut with his boy & friends + two hunters of the good tipe , and a grate night was had by all.

Russell Pullar Ps watch out for the Rat hole under the table at Boundary Creek Hut + the track is in a bit of a mess after some hunters drove their 4WD up there . They left their calling card in the way of blood on the bench & table and beer cans in the fireplace and on the track.

MountainView If this is the one in Hakatere then its on my list to visit (was up at Double Hut a month ago, and will be at Boundary Creek on Saturday). Its a great area for families and I wouldn't want to lose the tramping opportunities it gives. I'd be happy to help with maintenance.
