D'Archiac and the Havelock River
Mount D'Archiac (2875m) is 43km away. It lies at the end of the Sibbald Range, just south of the Main Divide. The Havelock and Clyde Rivers join to become the Rangitata River, flowing off to the left.
The deep incision in the middle distance is the Potts River, which has cut easily through the soft glacial till plain beneath the Dogs Range. This picture from partway up Mount Guy.
