Trudge stream drains the northern or Poulter side of Trudge Col. Crossing Trudge Col provides an interesting and challenging route from the much used Hawdon Valley to the much more remote and beautiful Upper Poulter. But be prepared for the short bluff scramble on the Hawdon side and the scrub and gorges lower in Trudge Stream.
