This photo shows a rear view of the new Mt Curtis Hut and gives a glimpse of the the tussock country which starts just above the hut.

glennj The farm has changed hands and the new owner is not giving access via the farm track on the TR of Dee Creek anymore. I skirted the farm on the TL of Dee Creek then picked up the cut track to Mt Curtis where the 4x4 farm track used to hit it. There is a smattering of uncleared windfalls on the lower terraces at the moment.
