Aotea Track | Great Barrier Island, late March '16

Hi there! I am coming to Auckland from Canada near the end of this month and would absolutely love to do the 27km 3-day Aotea Track on Great Barrier Island. It would be great to have some company or perhaps join up with another group. I am hoping to leave Auckland for the Island to start the track on either March 28 or 29, and stay in the Mt Heale and Kaiaraara Huts on the way. I'm an experienced hiker born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, and I'm a huge sucker for beautiful islands, beaches, and hot springs (and the Aotea Track seems to tick all of those boxes!). I don't have too much time in New Zealand (I know, not ideal), but coming across this tramp pretty much sealed the deal for me on what I should do with my limited time.
