Gillespie Pass for New Years

Hi all,
Bit of a long shot, but I am going to be tramping the Gillespie Pass circuit starting from Makarora on 30th December, with 2 nights at Siberia Hut in the middle to allow a day trip to Crucible Lake. So heading out from Kerin Forks hut in a leisurely fashion on Wednesday 3rd January (either by foot, jetboat or helicopter - unsure yet!). My partner is now unable to come, and although I'm fairly confident of doing this on my own thought I'd check and see if anyone else was planning to be in the area at the time?

have you booked siberia hut? from the 30th to the 3 the only space available is on the 1st...

Yep, I'd actually booked and paid for two bunks before my partner cancelled, so one is available if anyone wants it!
