OPC Biscuit recipe help

Help please...... I have made the OPC biscuit/slice several times now however the slice is really crumbly. It should be firm - almost solid like the OSM biscuits. I have done three test batches this week - one using the scales to weigh my ingredients instead of scooping, the second was scooping the flour etc, the third was scooping & cooking for longer. The third batch is the firmest so far but the biscuits are still too crumbly. Anyone have any suggestions?
Chuck an egg or two in there, along with half a cup or so of boiling water before you mix it all up. Mix well (mix should be quite sticky), press in to tin with wet hands, bake.
