Anybody want to help a visitor?

We will be visiting NZ for the second time this December and January (2010-11). We like a walk, but for sorts of reasons we would like to limit ourselves to daytrips. Is there anybody out there that can share some gpx files with daytrips, anything from 4 to 8 hours welcome. Anywhere in NZ is OK. We have a Garmin Oregon with a NZ topo map available. Thanks in advance.
