I have been tramping since 1968. Colleen and I are interested in the Te Araroa trail (the non road sections). Last year we did Mercer to Taumaranui in sections, and the Harper and St James.This year (2010) we completed Queen Charlotte, Pelorus and Mt Richmond ending at Nelson Lakes.2011 we did Herekino, Raetea, Omahuta,Puketi,and Russell forests. I have done 6 weeks tramping in Nepal, and Colleen and I did the Alpine pass route across Switzland.
