Getting there
Getting there
1/ From Owen Valley East Road via Frying Pan Creek & Fyfe River. 2/ From Granity Pass Hut via any of several saddles that drop in to Nuggety Creek then down the cut track NW of Point 1500m to the hut. (2-3 hrs) The saddle north of Point 1552m is recommended by DOC but either of the two saddles south of Point 1552 can work well and involve less climbing. If using the saddle immediately S of Point 1552m sidle SW (upstream) a bit for an easier crossing of Nuggety Creek avoiding scrub and bluffs.
