Wairoa Shelter
Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park
A basic three walled shelter with a dirt floor. Would be ok if caught in bad weather, or for a night start. No longer a picnic table as per photo
It has a good fire place in the clearing. Plenty of wood about. A new longdrop has just be put in by Doc.
Down near the creak is two flat spots for tenting.
