Black Hill Hut

Six bunk just below the bushline in dry beech forest on Black Hill. Enclosed wood burner, rainwater supply; nice and bright due to skylight but beware the mice at night! Camping space outside.

Access 1. track from the Wharfedale track (previous site of Townshend Huts), 2 1/2 hours from Townshend site 2. track from the Wharfedale track at the saddle between Dobson stream and Coal Creek, 2 1/2 - 3hrs from track junction 3. poled route from Black Hill ridge and Salmon Creek
