Over the last few years I've been working on my bushcraft skills. After a number of courses in The Netherlands and England and a great trip to Sweden (we built a raft and drifted down a river for about a week), I hope to learn a lot more in New Zealand: after graduation I'm going to NZ for a year. One of the things I want to do is tramping. A lot of it. Mounting to a very long tramp, by compass. So now I'm looking for people who'd like to introduce me to tramping. By sharing stories, giving advice or (preferably) by taking me in tow on an actual tramp. I have no experience in tramping, but I do have experience in fire lighting, shelters, water & food, snaring. I don’t have a lot of money, so I hope to find bush related work. Any advice on that would be appreciated.
