This hut is close to a 4x4 road end & it shows a bit. Empty booze bottles, other litter, smut magazines & some graffiti detract a little from what has obviously been a well maintained hut until fairly recently.

This hut sited beside the Goulter River, which holds some good sized trout, is popular with fishermen. A fair amount of pig sign was seen whilst walking between this hut and Mid Goulter hut.
