A charming hut situated on the TR of the South Branch of the Mokihinui River at the confluence with Goat Creek.

glennj There were large flocks of Tui feeding on the Kowhai when we visited late Sept 2009.
In fact the Tui's at that time were more prolific than anywhere else I've been.
Below Goat Creek toward Mokihinui Forks we saw several dozen goats showing that goats still survive in this area.
