Long before the road was pushed up the Graham Valley, hikers had to leave the old Salisbury farm at Pokororo. Flora Hut was the 2nd shelter enroute the fabled Tablelands, after Thorns Hut. During the gold rush of the1870s Mr Edwards had a store at the present site of Flora Huts.
