Siberia Flat campsite

Camping next to the Wangapeka River near the start of the Wangapeka Track.

Facilities include picnic tables nestled amongst trees and a toilet. A local telephone, information, and intentions book is located located a few minutes walk back up the road at Prices Flat. The Wangapeka Track start is located at Rolling Junction, a few minutes further walk southeast along the road.

The road in is long, single lane, and dirt, but suitable for regular cars. There are several small fords, plus one large ford. The Dart Ford can rise and become impassible in wet weather.

Sandflies in the area are aggressive.
