28 Dec 2011 | Been there 12 times. DoC were going to take it out b/c they were told it was derelict. It is in the best condition of any of those bivs from that era in the park. Waterfall biv was derelict, having lost its chimney (though still functional) but it has been removed in the hut/biv pogram. Ranger was spared by my and Frank's efforts. |
