| Dodgydave | 1 Apr 2017 | Well marked track in on the true right of the river. Bit of a slog to get in but track is easy to follow for the most part. Took just under 6 hours from Rapid Creek Hut. | |

19 Mar 2015 | Went in via the TR of the Hokitika River this time. Andrew Buglass & the odd permolat helper have recently re-opened this old route that was abandoned in the early 70's. It took me 6hrs 15mins (including lunch & photo stops) to walk up to the hut from the DOC carpark. It's a reasonably challenging route. Allow 6 - 9 hrs if heading in this way. | |

21 Mar 2011 | In and out via Mt Inframeta from Frews Hut. Spent a day going each each way & checked two different routes between Serpentine and the Inframeta tops. |
