| Ryan Orr | 1 Nov 2014 | Fantastic night at the hut with a group of 9. Lots of space, nice and new and a great view. Lots of wood, coal and water at the hut plus some cooking equipment. Hut has cellphone reception on telecom (all be it a bit patchy). | |

18 Oct 2014 | Very spacious hut which was well equipped with pots and toilet paper when we were there. Walked up from Boom Flat in 3.5 hours and down via Wainora Kauri in 4 hours (times include 1/2 hour lunch stop). | |
