Part of a solo trip from Makaroa to Homer Hut. Waited two days at Top Forks Hut for the rain to clear. Bloody glad I did, there's no way anyone should attempt this route in anything but ideal weather (and I usually scoff at these warnings on blogs and from DOC as being overly cautious). | |
