A long traverse, with ups & downs thru gullies. Most have streams. Many streams South of Acland Shelter. Only 1 North of it. | |

It would be a bit gloomy in winter. People have been known to stay at the Acland shelter. This track can be used for all sorts of loop trips e.g. access to the summit of Mt Somers via the western end of the track and down the south face of Mt Somers (summit track) and back on to this track. | |
