Harder then the name "Walkway" suggests. Little ground trail and not as well marked as anticipated. Between Taipo and Greenstone huts the track splits in 2, with a track going down both sides of the Pass Burn. The "official" track goes down the true left, but the true right is still easy to follow. If it has been raining use the true right. There is no bridge at the bottom where the 2 tracks recombine on the true right side, and the Pass Burn will be impassible if in flood if you go down the true left! | |
