Did this out and back from Te Aroha to Waitawheta Hut. Track in excellent condition, some great views from Te Aroha, and super hut. | |

A reasonably good loop. Mangakino pack track would be nice and easy if it weren't for all the trees down. Did this loop in reverse with a party of 5, including one very unfit person. Took 10 hrs from Te Aroha - Daly's, 4 hours to Waitawheta, and 6.5 hours back to Te Aroha. Waipapa track is nicely benched and easy going. | |
