Nice, easy track. Pioneer Women's Memorial at the top is currently under repair after earthquake damage back in 2011. | |

Miners lettuce grows profusely at upper end. This track was rerouted onto a spur to avoid valley travel after a fatality during the February 22 earthquake in 2011. On the other side of the pipeline if you travel further up the valley is a track that links with halfway up the Lyttelton side of the Bridle Path. I believe these embellishments were created by volunteers. |
