Very easy route to approach for a climb of French Hill. Would be great for mountain biking too as the track is even. Not much native bush after the initial section. There is a walking track that starts a few metres into the road that this track begins on. It looks steep. The track is closed for lambing for a ridiculously long period. The lambs get to be way past the mis-mothering period by the time the track is reopened to the public. |
