9 Mar 2014 | Not really an alert, but a request for people using the hut to air it and wipe down round the window frames and door before leaving. This would need to include the window gutters (on the inside) as well. If you have any spare toilet paper, this is good for the job. There is a massive fireplace full of ash right outside the hut. Makes things very cosy as it is about a metre high. | |

30 Apr 2013 | Showing plenty of mould already (only 4-5yrs old) - possibly due to its location. The sunny terraces across the stream would be perfect but may be more flood prone as the terrace is markedly lower on the true left. Like these new 2-bunk bivvys though - cosy. | |

26 Dec 2012 | This is a very awesome spot to visit a real easy take your time, boil the billy on the way three hour stroll. Great little biv, Though I think it's a little bit back to forwards with the window looking into the bush and not out into the scenery, just my opinion | |
