Maitland Creek to Beebys Creek – Aerial spraying of wilding conifers
A helicopter will be spraying wilding pines with herbicide between 17 January – 30 April 2023. The operation will take place in the Maitland Creek – Beebys Creek area of Mt Richmond Forest Park. The herbicide ingredients are triclopyr and biodiesel. The target species are individual plants of Contorta pine, Scots pine and Douglas fir. The work is set-back from tracks and so marked tracks and routes are safe to use while the helicopter is working. First published on 15 January 2023. |
