Franklin Road closure
Franklin Road will be closed from 31 January – 31 March for major road repairs. Access from Franklin Road to and from Waitawheta Hut, Daly’s Clearing Hut and Dean Track will not be possible during this time. First published on 20 January 2023. |

Kauritatahi Hut Track closed
A significant land slip has occurred on the track to Kauritatahi Hut. The track is closed until further notice as it is blocked by heavy debris, vegetation and large boulders.
