Alert	Ōtaki Gorge Road closure The Ōtaki Gorge Road is closed to vehicles until further notice. However, there is an emergency track that you can walk to gain access to the Tararua Forest Park. Alert	Tarn Ridge Hut unsafe The hut is currently damaged inside. This damage is from a storm that caused water damage to the hut. The hut currently only provides protection from the elements.
