Born in Hokitika, I first started tramping in 1967 with the Papanui High School tramping club in Christchurch. I have continued tramping over the years more or less and I tramp solo or with friends and family or with a club.

Now I live in Nelson and it's great to be surrounded by lots of great tramping country.
