Heating Gear
I'm planning a tramp to Kime Hut in October. If the forecast is bad we will abandon, and if the forecast is poor we will probably target Field instead.
But, if the forecast is okay we will go ahead. I'm still concerned about the temp in the hut and got to thinking about my options to try warm the place.
Does anyone have experience or recommendations for heating on a tramp?
My brief research has turned up a few options, but I can't find any review on how these handle on the ground:
1) butane heater (i.e. https://tinyurl.com/ya7toh5j)
2) portable stove cap (i.e https://tinyurl.com/ycqlsm3v)
Any other ideas?
FYI - We will be a party of 4 strong men (35 - 45yrs). 3 experienced and 1 inexperienced. We can handle additional weight.
