North branch of the Wilkin in November?

Hi There, Has anyone travelled up the N branch of the Wilkin in mid-November, from the Top Forks Huts to L Diana etc? I just wondered if snow melt at that time of the year prevented easy crossing of the various streams draining the Alps to the west of the valley. Thanks, Alan
I've been there in late spring and also summer and snowmelt wasn't a problem. Crossing the South branch below Top Forks hut was easy as was the main stream you have to cross (cant remember its name sorry) at the base of the spur up to Lake Diana. Of course it depends on how much snow was around but by mid Nov it should be OK. Top Forks is a great location, awesome views of Mt Pollux from the deck.
Thanks for the comments. Looks like it is a go-er then! Cheers, Alan
Alan, Try to fit in a day up to the the waterfall face too. Its a good day out. The lakes lucidus and castallia are great,a lovely day up and back. The wilken valley is so awesome, and so easy to access ,, . .
Thanks for the comments Geoff. Alan
