Search and locations

You have the functionality to search and show places from the NZ placenames database on your map when georeferencing stuff you create on the site.
It would be really great to be able to search for and show locations without having to create something to do it. Maybe from the search page ... have an option of searching the placenames database as well as the NZ tramper content, and showing the resulting location on a map.
E.g. I want to know what the country round Worsley Hut is like. Google maps has never heard of it, but NZ placenames DB does have it. I don't want to create an entry for it (yet) 'coz I haven't been there (yet - but there's this tramp I want to do, and ...). So I'd like to look at it on a satellite photo.
What you could do in the short term is go to http://www.zenbu.co.nz That database has all the DOC huts in it, straight from DOC's database. Type in Worsley hut and then select the satelite view. You get to see quite a lot of cloud, which I guess is not unusual for that part of the world.
