the bomb shelter pitch for tarps

The thread that MadPom started on tarps is closed but I noticed a link is broken so here's a more direct link showing this pitch. @Ian_H; thanks for the notification below. You can click on the picture and get a big graphic to study. I hope the link works. http://americanbushman.blogspot.co.nz/2007/04/don-ladigins-bombshelter.html The bomb shelter pitch is a more complex version of the plow (sic) pitch. I adapted a square fly by putting attachment points along the diagonal ridgeline which then were affixed to the cord strung between 2 trees using prussik knots so they could be well tensioned and taut. cheers,
Honora, link doesn't seem to work. I have some (perhaps different) variations on pitching a fly in the wind, will try and post when I get the chance.
Link worked for me.
Cheers, FrankB. I dumped the link and replaced it with another. Some of those crazy American fly pitches - I can see myself getting very wet with a few of them.
@Honora not only wet but also having it take off like a kite in some of our winds.
