Is any gear made in NZ anymore?
I miss Fairydown and what Macpac used to be.
Macpac quality is pretty much as gimmicky and crap as Kathmandu has always been.
Macpac isnt even a NZ owned company anymore - Its now Aussie owned.
Are there any reputable "made in NZ" outdoor suppliers anymore?

Wear On Earth (Blair) has also dabbled in sleeping bags. He made one for me - custom fit, synthetic fill, epic outer, no seams. Good three season bag, waterproof enough for a night or two in drizzle. Compared to an expensive down bag - a little heavy, but I find some pretty good use for it under a fly.
