Sleeping bags for summer use

i've got exped 500 lite and 300 ultralite. Swiss company. very high quality materials and constructon the ultralites are a narrower bag, you can move the down between the top and bottom on the ultralite to hep vary the heat, pack down to nothing with high loft down. http://www.bivouac.co.nz/gear/camping-and-tramping/sleeping-bags.html?manufacturer=958
Other good three season bags would include the Mountain Equipment Helium Solo or 400 bags, or the Macpac Epic 400... Would need to wait for a sale for the above bags to get a good price. One Planet also makes some nice bags but their range is a bit more confusing, but found they are competitively priced all of the time.. So rarely seen on sale. There are other good options out there, but way too many to list.
My winter bag is between those 2 Exped bags but not everyone is comfortable at the same temperature in the same level of insulation. Ive slept in mine in a fly covered in frost with the zip part undone and struggle to use it in a hut if the fire gets lit. Summer weight bags Ive gone away from the quality bags altogether and use a Warehouse bag with an extreme rating of 0. This was bought as a lh and a second bag with rh zip and also used camping with the wife. The only catch is that my summer bag is bulkier and heavier than my winter bag but not enough to justify the cost of a nice down summer bag that can be squashed small enough to fit in the shorts pocket.
I just got a bag from Cumulus in Poland. I got the Lite Line 400, but their Lite Line 200 would be a good summer bag at 535g all up. Very light fabric, very high lofting down, good price. http://sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/uk/categories/sleeping-bags/down-sleeping-bags/lite-line-200?gid=61&vid=6 Their Lite Line 200 comes in at 168 euro including shipping which is about NZ$275. It took 11 days for it to arrive from Poland.
got Montbell Spiral Hugger #3. weighs 700gms ok for camping October to may. might be bit cool in winter, if not in a hut looking for the #2 version, wee bit heavier, better warmth

Bags with 1000g of fill are designed for pretty extreme conditions, not surprising you find it warm even in winter.
For summer use I'd recommend a sleeping quilt, I got one last year from Polish outfit recommended by Ian above http://sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/uk/categories/sleeping-systems?cms_user=51cafb6d700077fe4e914590152c7f51 the Comforter 350, 560g. Teamed with lightweight silk sleeping liner it's very versatile, on warmer nights worn as a normal duvet and you're never too warm, (which can be really uncomfortable with a warm bag), and on colder nights it can joined together like a sleeping bag. The Cumulus bags are good quality, and great value.
