ideas for a four day tramp

Hi I am looking for a ideas for a four day tramp in Northland in the Spring. Medium grade would be good I have done advance but my hiking partner has not. Huts would be nice but not necessary. Reverse.
@Reverse, I did various parts of the Te Paki track up at Cape Reinga as day walks a couple of years ago but the whole track is 3-4 days long with multiple campsites along the way. Loved the area, relatively few people out tramping even doing the Christmas-New Year peak. Pretty amazing walking along a beach only an hour from the lighthouse and seeing nobody or any sign of footprints for a whole day. http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-go/northland/places/te-paki-recreation-reserve/things-to-do/tracks/te-paki-coastal-track/ There's also the Te Araroa trail, one section they recommend is Russell to Whangarei. http://www.teararoa.org.nz/northland/russell-forest-whangarei-heads
theres not a massive amount of choice for what you are looking for, most tracks are short and or rough... the stretch of Te Araroa Trail from the southern end of 90 mile beach is very rough...
Waynowski, thanks. I had heard the same thing about that section of the TA. People we were tramping with, this summer on the TA, were comparing the number of times they fell there.
