Queenstown and Aoraki / Mount Cook

Hi, I'm flying to Queenstown this weekend (13th Feb) and plan to do one or two day walks in the area, and then hire a car or get a bus (still looking at options because the bus seems quite expensive) to Aoraki / Mount Cook national park to do some hiking around there including possibly a 2-3 day hike. I'm planning on camping for most of it and stopping in DOC huts if I do a multi day walk. I'm 36 from the UK and have done quite a few multi day walks in the past. The longest being 8 days, and always think it's more fun and safer with company. So if anyone is in the area and wants to join me either for a day walk or to go to Aoraki /Mount Cook let me know. Dave
