Any ideas for 4 to 5 day tramp and fly fish NIslan
Hi All, we are new to this online forums stuff so here goes.
My wife and I have a week off at the end of feb and are keen to get away but we are a bit stuck for ideas on were to go as we have just got into the fishing, in the past we have just been trampers so we are keen for any suggestions. We enjoy fly fishing and tramping we are fit and keen and are also open to the idea of a fly in and walk and fish out.

Rivers in the kaimanawas and Kaweka ranges are top fishing. Mohaka, ngararoro, rangitikie.
Few tracks and huts in the first two. Tararua rivers have good brown trout, otaki,
and waiohine
