Day hiking in christchurch area
Hi my name is Jessica, 27 yrs old, just arrived in christchurch and will be here for 5-6 weeks, looking for someone interesting in checking out some moderate level day hikes with nice views.

Hi, I would check out the little books by Mark Pickering available at some bookstores and outdoor shops here (about $15 each). The Port Hills (green) and Banks Peninsula (orange) ones would be a good start for day walks close to Christchurch.
I may be keen for the odd walk in weekends.
